Punctuation Questions for Class 2 English Olympiad | Grade 2 IEO | Glovoy

Class 2 English 5 free questions · Updated March 2026

Punctuation gives sentences their shape and meaning — without it, even a well-worded sentence becomes confusing. Class 2 IEO tests capital letters (for proper nouns and sentence beginnings), full stops, question marks, exclamation marks, commas (in lists and after introductory phrases) and apostrophes (for possession and contractions). Bronze questions name the correct punctuation mark for a given purpose. Silver questions identify the correctly punctuated sentence. Gold questions require adding multiple punctuation marks to an unpunctuated passage of dialogue.
