Singular and Plural Questions for Class 2 English Olympiad | Grade 2 IEO | Glovoy

Class 2 English 5 free questions · Updated March 2026

Forming plurals in English is not always as simple as adding -s. Class 2 IEO tests regular plurals (-s, -es), spelling-change plurals (-f to -ves, -y to -ies) and the irregular plurals that must be memorised: child/children, mouse/mice, ox/oxen, goose/geese, tooth/teeth, foot/feet. Bronze questions test the most common irregular forms. Silver questions ask which type of noun takes which ending. Gold questions require checking all nouns in a sentence for correct plural usage — including the irregular ones that catch children out most.
